EES UK are now recruiting   Beam testing Engineer / Steel Erector – North As a beam testing / steel erector engineer you will carry out day to day installation and testing of lifting eyes and lifting beams to LOLER regulations.  You will be responsible for carrying out testing works directly related to the elevator industry on new installation sites and existing live buildings that are under going refurbishment.   Principle Responsibilities: -  • Carry out initial training based in the Midlands and the North  Provide specialist project support to external clients • You will be going to construction sites on mostly new installation projects but will also eventually be trained on testing from existing Lifts • Planning and delivery for each project including liaising with the customer, whilst on site. • Offering a professional and reliable service • Ensuring all equipment required to carry out works is in calibration date and good working order   Person specification: -  • Ideally have LEEA accreditation and certified • Ideally have SSSTS Card • Ideally have previous experience as Supervisor / Lead hand • MUST have excellent timekeeping skills • MUST have a current in date CSCS card or the ability to gain a CSCS card immediately • MUST have a Full UK driving licence • Excellent attention to detail • The key to this role is a hard-working positive attitude as the specific knowledge on the equipment will be provided during training  This is a full time permanent position with minimum hours 8.00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday which is not factory based. Overtime usually available and flexibility will be required for start times on occasion, dependant on the site location, for project site inductions. This position offers an excellent basic salary dependant on experience and overtime is available. There is no call out roster with this position. Uniforms, PPE, Specialist tools and vehicle supplied however a basic tool kit of your own should be provided.    Field Engineer - London / Greater London  As a Field Engineer you will be multi skilled in both mechanical and electrical disciplines. You will be responsible for the works directly related to the elevator industry on new installation sites, existing live buildings undergoing refurbishment and repairs. You will not be installing lifts or performing modernization's but instead will be performing much of the associated works which are not undertaken by the manufacturer.  Principle Responsibilities: - • To provide specialist project support to external clients • You will be going to sites, some new installation and some existing tenanted buildings to perform specialist lift related project work. • Planning and delivery for each of the projects including liaising with the customer while at site.   Person specification: - • Ideally have strong NVQ supported ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL knowledge • MUST have excellent timekeeping skills • MUST have a CSCS card or the ability to gain a CSCS card immediately • MUST have a UK driving licence • Excellent attention to detail • The key to this role is a hard-working positive attitude as the specific knowledge on the equipment will be provided during training.  This is a full time permanent position with minimum hours 8.00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday which is not factory based.
